About The Position

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse works within organizational policies and procedures and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The role is responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities of assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.

Requirements

Graduate from a nursing program.
No experience is required; new graduates of a nursing program are eligible.
Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
For Cardiac Telemetry, ACLS certification is required within 180 days; nurse residents or nurses new to the specialty must complete applicable certifications within six months of the start date.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
