About The Position

The RN works in a fast-paced, team-oriented 30-bed medical cardiac progressive care unit. The unit cares for a varied patient population, including complex medical patients with multiple comorbidities, complex surgical patients, step-down patients, and post-procedure patients. The team supports an environment of learning and professional growth, with additional career-growth opportunities expected as the Clovis location expands.

Requirements

• High school diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or completion of a CHS-approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) certificate.
• Consistent demonstration of Novice / Advance Beginner clinical nursing practice proficiency.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Meet the department’s specific requirements, orientation skills checklists, and competencies.
• The listed cardiac progressive care units require Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within the stated time after hire or transfer. The posting lists timing by department, including within 1 year for CPCU and CVS Progressive 8W units.
