About The Position
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) in Seguin, TX and surrounding areas. The company has been providing care to the medically fragile community since 2000, focusing on values of Heart, Advocacy, Love, Outreach, and Speed. Nurses provide direct, one-on-one medical care to infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home, following the active plan of care. The role involves ongoing patient care and assessments, medication administration, treatment, therapies, care coordination, and educating family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes. Requirements
- Active RN or LPN/LVN license
- Ability to provide care in a client home setting
- Ability to make a positive and lasting impression!
Responsibilities
- Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel
- Conduct on-going patient care and assessments
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Coordination of care
- Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes
- Preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for patient
