LVN / RN Pediatric Home Health Nurse
About The Position
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to provide direct, one-on-one medical care to medically fragile infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home. Nurses will focus on the medical needs and treatment according to the active plan of care, making a significant difference in the lives of patients and their families. The role involves working full-time and part-time shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN/LVN license
- Provide care in a client home setting
- Ability to make a positive and lasting impression!
Responsibilities
- Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
- Conduct on-going patient care and assessments.
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
- Coordination of care
- Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes
- Preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for patient
