RN / LVN Pediatric Home Health Nurse
About The Position
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) in San Marcos, TX and surrounding areas. Angels of Care has been providing care to the medically fragile community nationwide since 2000, guided by their values of Heart, Advocacy, Love, Outreach, and Speed (HALOS). Angels of Care nurses deliver direct, one-on-one medical care, significantly impacting the lives of their patients and families. The company is looking for RNs and LPNs to fill full-time and part-time shifts, with availability for days, nights, and weekends.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN/LVN license (New Grads Welcome, training provided!)
- Provide care in a client home setting
- Ability to make a positive and lasting impression!
Responsibilities
- Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
- Conduct on-going patient care and assessments.
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
- Coordination of care.
- Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes.
- Preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for patient.
