About The Position

The RN will work in the LVAD Cardiac Transplant Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, providing specialized nursing care and applying a patient-focused, whole-person approach. This is a 0.9 FTE night-shift position, working three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with rotating weekends. The posting offers a $10.00-per-hour night-shift differential and a $6,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires who meet the required qualifications and payment conditions.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license upon hire, in the state where care is delivered.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider ACLS certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• One year of nursing experience.
