About The Position

The RN Fellow will work in the LVAD Cardiac Transplant Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This role offers a guided transition into a new specialty through a structured curriculum, experienced preceptors, and hands-on learning. It is intended for registered nurses transitioning to a new specialty who have more than 12 months of continuous RN work experience.

This is a 0.9 FTE night-shift position, with three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Rotating weekends and holidays are required. A $10-per-hour night-shift differential is offered.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• One year of nursing experience; the candidate is new to the specialty.
