About The Position

Walnut Hills is seeking compassionate RNs and LPNs to join their full-time night team. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents, work with a supportive team, and enjoy flexibility in scheduling. The role involves providing safe, compassionate, and consistent care throughout the night, building strong relationships with residents, and contributing to a mission-driven organization. Options for 8-hour or 12-hour shifts are available, along with night and weekend differentials.

Requirements

Current, active RN or LPN license in the state of Ohio in good standing.
Strong observation, communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work independently while being a dependable member of the care team.
A compassionate and respectful approach to resident care.
Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with CNAs and other team members.
Dependable, professional, and committed to providing excellent resident care.

Nice To Haves

Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on nursing care and develop meaningful relationships with residents.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established care plans.
Monitor residents and recognize changes in condition or needs.
Respond appropriately to changes in residents’ health and communicate concerns to the appropriate members of the care team.
Supervise and support CNAs while promoting a positive team environment.
Assist with admissions, discharges, and care planning.
Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
Maintain resident safety and follow infection prevention and control standards.
Complete accurate and timely documentation.
Advocate for residents and help ensure they receive dignity, respect, comfort, and quality care.
