About The Position

Givens Estates, a nonprofit life plan community in Asheville, is hiring a part-time LPN or RN for its health care team. The role supports residents’ comfort and well-being through care delivery, medication and nutrition administration, documentation, maintaining a safe therapeutic environment, and transferring and transporting residents. The schedule is 6 a.m.–6 p.m., with every other weekend required. Flexible scheduling may be offered where possible. Compensation is $30.00–$35.00 per hour for LPNs and $34.00–$39.00 per hour for RNs, based on experience. The position also offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid in increments during the first year, shift differential pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

An unencumbered LPN license for the state of North Carolina.
Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience working with older adults.
Supervision experience as an LPN or RN.

Responsibilities

Assist nurses in delivering appropriate care for residents’ comfort and well-being.
Administer prescribed medication and nutrition.
Document care delivery, patient condition, reactions, and progress.
Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for residents.
Transfer and transport residents.
