RN - Labor/Delivery (L&D)
About The Position
This is a rapid response position for a Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) in Department 707. The shift is from 7 PM to 7 AM (19:00-07:00) for a 6-week contract, with an option to extend for an additional 6 weeks at the same rate, provided the candidate is fully credentialed. The role involves performing Non-Stress Tests (NST) and cervical exams, managing labor, titrating medications, and employing the McRoberts technique as needed. Candidates will also provide couplet care if floated. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN, which must be included in the submission packet. No special scheduling or RTOC is mentioned.
Requirements
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN
- Must have AWHONN Fetal Monitoring skills
- Experience in couplet care
- Over 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience preferred
- Skills in transition nursing and baby catching preferred
