About The Position

Provide care for patients in the Labor and Delivery unit during the night shift, following AWHONN acuity staffing ratios. Utilize GE and Centricity Perinatal equipment and EMR EPIC for documentation and patient care tasks.

Requirements

• 1 year LD experience and AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring certification required
• Labor triage experience
• RN, BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
• Experience in Newborn resuscitation and OR circulator duties

Nice To Haves

• IUPC/FSE Placement and assist with JADA/COOKS/BAKRI placement

Responsibilities

• Induction of labor, vaginal delivery, c-sections, and tubal ligation
• Labor triage and antepartum care
• Performing D&C, vaginal repair, NST, and IUFD procedures
• Administering steroid injections (BMZ), and external cephalic version
• Attend deliveries for newborn resuscitation for low-risk newborns
• OR circulator responsibilities for C-section, tubal ligation, D&C, vaginal repair, etc.
