About The Position

The Labor & Delivery RN will provide high-quality, high-acuity obstetric nursing care, including: Managing laboring patients in a high-acuity L&D setting Monitoring maternal and fetal status continuously Assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries Responding to obstetric emergencies (e.g., fetal distress, hemorrhage) Administering medications and IV therapies per protocol Collaborating with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams Performing detailed patient assessments and documentation in Epic Providing postpartum stabilization and recovery care as needed Educating patients and families throughout labor and delivery process Maintaining patient safety and adhering to hospital protocols

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Prior travel RN experience required
• Active RN License (must be in good standing)
• Certifications Required: BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (required)
• Must be able to manage high-acuity patients independently

Nice To Haves

• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring / EFM Certification (preferred)
