About The Position

We are seeking an experienced IR nurse who can quickly integrate into the team with minimal orientation. Previous Emergency Department (ED) and/or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience is strongly preferred, as it provides the critical care skills needed to manage patient hemodynamics, recognize and respond to complications, and thrive in the fast-paced Interventional Radiology environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing experience.
• Previous travel experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience administering and monitoring moderate sedation.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of procedures such as catheter placements, arterial procedures, biopsies, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
• Manage and recognize patient complications in a dynamic Interventional Radiology environment.
• Adhere to on-call rotation requirements.
