Exciting opportunity to work in a fast paced, state-of-the-art environment providing specialized patient care to adult inpatient and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures (biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, drain placements and other image-guided procedures). This role includes preparing patients, intra-procedure monitoring and post-procedure recovery including PACU and extended stay (23-hour). IR is an essential part of the critical embolization response team for trauma patients. This role requires critical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced/team-oriented environment. The IR RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient centered care.
