About The Position

This is a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a level 1 Trauma center. We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients and post procedural recover and overnight observation care. Experience with GI post procedural care is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• 2 years' Registered IR Nursing experience
• New York RN license
• Telemetry Experience Required
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)

Nice To Haves

• Experience with GI post procedural care

Responsibilities

• Pre/procedural preparation and post procedural recovery care of patients
• Overnight observation care for patients boarding pre or post procedure
