H80 – General Medicine/Telemetry is a collaborative acute care unit dedicated to providing exceptional care for adults with various health concerns, that may include congestive heart failure, diabetes or other complex medical needs. H80 offers nurses a dynamic and rewarding environment where you will build expertise in clinical assessment, care coordination, and patient-centered care while working within a supportive team that promotes professional growth and development. A caregiver in this position works as needed on day, evening, night and/or weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN program)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- External applicants: two years of recent nursing experience. Will consider military RN experience
- Successfully pass all prescreen competency assessments

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
