About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. In the Electrophysiology Lab, nurses monitor, circulate, and scrub cases involving minimally invasive procedures such as ablations, PVIs, laser lead extractions, and cardiac device procedures. The RN collaborates with physicians and other interprofessional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care, and practices within the scope of nursing expertise and applicable professional standards. The role includes care across prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Responsibilities include care planning and coordination, patient assessment and education, triage, and other nursing interventions. The position is scheduled for day hours, 40 hours per week, with no call requirements.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
Hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where nursing practice occurs, or possess multistate licensure if practicing in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
