About The Position

Sanford Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Inpatient Electrophysiology Lab. The role uses the nursing process to provide individualized patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Nurses in the lab monitor, circulate, and scrub cases and participate in minimally invasive procedures such as ablations, PVIs, laser lead extractions, and cardiac device procedures. The schedule is day hours, with no call requirements.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
Hold an unencumbered RN license in the state where nursing practice occurs, or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor, circulate, and scrub cases in the Electrophysiology Lab.
Collaborate with interprofessional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and use age- and population-specific standards appropriate to the clinical setting.
Care for patients across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
Plan and coordinate care; assess and educate patients; provide triage and other nursing interventions.
Maintain practice in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, applicable administrative rules, and professional nursing standards.
