About The Position

The RN assists the physician in the care and teaching of patients. The role requires a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of residence, with IV therapy experience and the ability to assess patient needs and condition. The nurse must demonstrate strong critical thinking and respond calmly and effectively in emergencies. Current CPR certification is required. BLS must be held upon hire or obtained within 30 days of employment; FCS will provide a BLS course during that period. Fluency in English and excellent oral and written communication skills are required, as is a valid driver license for travel to clinics. Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred. Offers are contingent on clear background screening results. New hires must receive required vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine, unless an exemption is approved, and are subject to drug testing. FCS is a drug-free workplace and does not recognize Medical Marijuana cards.

Requirements

Registered Nurse licensed in the state of residence.
Experience in IV therapy.
Ability to assess patient needs and condition.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Current CPR certification.
BLS certification upon hire or obtained within 30 days of employment.
Fluency in English, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
