About The Position

As an RN Infusion Nurse at Pure Infusion, you will support doctors and patients through tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The role requires comfort with infusion care and working independently alongside office staff. You will specialize in administering IV therapy treatments for patients with autoimmune disorders. This PRN role covers 2–5 shifts a month, Monday through Friday, and may require occasional travel to other locations.

Requirements

Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience.
Comprehensive nursing assessment skills.
Excellent patient assessment and interpersonal skills.
Clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinic operations.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to collaborate with others and provide outstanding customer service.
RN degree.
Current nursing license for the applicable state.
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
Ability to meet U.S. employment and eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care by administering biologics and other infusible or injectable medications as ordered, and provide appropriate patient education.
Start and discontinue IVs for infusion therapies.
Establish peripheral IV access.
Access peripheral IVs and ports.
Prepare medications, including mixing, and administer medications.
Triage inquiries from infusion patients.
Travel to other locations on occasion.
Participate in performance improvement activities by offering suggestions and assistance to support continuous improvement in patient care delivery.
Follow safety and infection-control standards when delivering patient care.
Know and comply with policies and procedures related to job duties.
