About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for an exciting Travel or Local job in Falmouth, MA. This position involves delivering direct ICU patient care, monitoring patient responses, performing assessments, and administering critical care interventions. The role also includes guiding ancillary staff, ensuring safety protocols, and participating in care planning and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification required
- Completion of hospital-required Pharmacology & Arrhythmia exams
- Critical Care & ICU nursing expertise
- Ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring
- Clinical judgment and emergency response
- Strong documentation and EMR proficiency
- Patient safety and quality care focus
- Strong communication and adaptability in high-acuity setting

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct ICU patient care using the nursing process
- Monitor and assess patient responses to medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical, psychological, and social assessments
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
- Administer and monitor critical care interventions (ventilator support, hemodynamic monitoring, etc.)
- Guide and supervise ancillary staff and support charge nurse responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to hospital safety and infection control protocols
- Participate in care planning, discharge planning, and quality improvement initiatives
- Provide patient and family education as needed
