About The Position

MultiCare is seeking a staff registered nurse to join its hospital-based ICU team at Deaconess Hospital. The role uses specialized nursing knowledge and training to provide care through a multidisciplinary approach. Nurses at MultiCare participate in clinical decision-making, maintain open communication with colleagues, and are supported in professional development. The position is 0.9 FTE on the night shift, with 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a 24-month commitment.

Requirements

• Current Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS, NALS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP certification, as required by the facility or department.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Certification in a specialty area.
• One year of experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating care on an ongoing basis.
• Use nursing education and experience to provide care through the nursing process and in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost efficiency.
• Foster a learning environment for patients and families, nursing staff, and members of the health care team.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care that promotes patient autonomy, dignity, and health across diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
