About The Position

This position requires advanced skills in Vent management, ABG interpretation, vasoactive drip titration, and hemodynamic monitoring. Procedures commonly performed on the unit include Intubations, central line placement, bronchs, and bedside trach and peg tube placement.

Requirements

• RN LICENSE
• ACLS Certification
• BLS Certification
• Advanced skills in Vent management
• Advanced skills in ABG interpretation
• Advanced skills in vasoactive drip titration
• Advanced skills in hemodynamic monitoring

Responsibilities

• Manage patients requiring advanced critical care.
• Perform and interpret hemodynamic monitoring.
• Administer and titrate vasoactive drips.
• Manage patients on mechanical ventilation.
• Interpret Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs).
• Assist with or perform procedures such as intubations, central line placement, bronchoscopies, bedside trach and peg tube placement.
