About The Position

This role involves providing direct patient care in an inpatient hospital setting. The Registered Nurse (RN) will consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Responsibilities include preparing and administering prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV), recording patient information and vital signs, and reporting adverse reactions. The role also involves educating patients on surgical procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Travel experience required.
• ACLS, BLS - AHA REQUIRED.
• Comfortable with Drips, such as, Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone- Required.
• Trauma level 1 experience- required.
• Candidate must pass advanced EKG and Advanced Math exams once offered.

Responsibilities

• Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.

• Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
