About The Position

This role involves providing direct patient care in a hospital inpatient setting. The Registered Nurse (RN) will consult and coordinate with other healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring for adverse reactions, educating patients, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• BLS – AHA Required.
• Candidate must pass advanced EKG and Advanced Math exams once offered.

Responsibilities

• Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.
• Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
• Educates patients on surgical procedures.
• Records patients’ medical information and vital signs.
