About The Position

The Clinical Director is a registered nurse who ensures quality of patient care in the home. This role involves planning, developing, and driving strategies for the nursing division, establishing standards for measuring quality care and organizational performance. The Clinical Director will oversee patient care services, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Responsibilities include monitoring the QAPI Program, identifying and reporting problem areas, and promoting infection control practices. The role also encompasses hiring, managing, and retaining qualified employees, mentoring staff, providing performance evaluations, and facilitating coaching, training, and development.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' management experience in Home Health.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Excellent oral and written skills.
  • Demonstrate organizational and leadership skills.
  • Possess a current, unencumbered license to practice nursing.
  • Strong clinical skills.
  • Experience with OASIS and QAPI.
  • Strong Medicare Background (Adult).
  • Strong Leadership Skills & Solutions Oriented, Adaptive, Change Agent.
  • Team Builder: Passion for teaching, supporting and guiding staff.

Responsibilities

  • Direct care coordination and supervision of all clinical functions.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations for home health visits.
  • Assure compliance with agency policy and procedures.
  • Monitor job performance, complete evaluations, and provide counseling for clinical staff.
  • Plan, develop, and drive strategies for the nursing division.
  • Establish standards for measuring quality care and organizational performance.
  • Oversee patient care services and ensure timely, quality delivery.
  • Monitor QAPI Program and ensure appropriate corrective measures are performed.
  • Monitor systems, identify problem areas, and report to Administrator.
  • Promote and educate on infection control and universal precautions.
  • Hire, manage, and retain qualified employees.
  • Mentor staff and provide performance evaluations.
  • Provide coaching, training, and development.
