About The Position

An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology and Hematology. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing high-quality care for patients with hematologic and oncologic diagnoses, as well as other specialized medical needs. Requirements

• Current Kansas or Multistate RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience required.
• Immunity verification for Hepatitis B, MMR, and Varicella, or proof of vaccination series completion.
• Documentation for TDaP and influenza vaccination or exemption request during flu season is mandatory.
• TB documentation is required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Nice To Haves

• Chemotherapy certification preferred.
• Oncology/hematology experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective patient care in a collaborative environment.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer appropriate medications and treatments.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Manage care for patients receiving inpatient chemotherapy and those requiring specialized medical attention.
