About The Position

This is a benefited, full-time position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Training will be full time on site for 60-90 days. Hours may vary based on need. Located at the Torrey Pines Clinic in La Jolla (3 days/week) and remote (2 days/week), and will support other sites remotely. Torrey Pines Gastroenterology offers a family environment that supports each other, a team-oriented approach with great doctors and leadership, and supportive nursing staff. Several sub-specialties are available, including IBD clinic and hepatology.

Requirements

CA RN license
ADN or Nursing Diploma
BLS required from American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

5+ years of experience as RN
Critical care experience
1+ years RN experience in an outpatient setting
BSN
GI and/or hepatology experience
Epic experience

Responsibilities

Mainly administrative position taking calls and managing patient care through Epic.
Work with advanced care team handling complex GI cases.
Ensure Scripps's patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, including: compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
Work collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
