About The Position

This is a full-time, benefited position, generally working Monday-Friday from 0800-1700. Shifts may run later if the provider is running behind. Requirements

  • ADN or Nursing Diploma
  • CA RN license
  • American Heart Association BLS

Nice To Haves

  • BSN
  • One year outpatient RN experience
  • Previous Urology experience
  • Experience placing Foley catheters
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and adjust to changing patient needs

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
  • Providing direct patient care within the scope of practice -- this includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures and messages, emergency protocols, and medication administration.
  • Working collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Handing patient communication, including making calls to provide information, follow up on care, responding to messages, and triaging.
  • Maintaining sterility during procedures and adhere to infection control protocols.
