RN Field Nurse, Per Diem
About The Position
The RN Field Nurse provides nursing services to assigned patients in a field-based, per-diem role in Corpus Christi. The position averages 9–10 visits per month and offers a flexible schedule during the business-hours window of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pay is $50.00–$55.00 per visit, with offers based on experience. The nurse assesses patients’ nursing needs, implements and evaluates individualized care plans, and revises plans when appropriate. The role includes promoting and maintaining optimal client care, completing initial and follow-up nursing evaluations, and counseling and instructing clients and families about nursing and related needs.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse licensure to practice nursing in the state.
- At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assess the nursing needs of assigned patients.
- Implement individualized patient care plans, evaluate their effectiveness, and modify them as appropriate.
- Promote and maintain optimal client care and respond to actual or potential health problems.
- Make the initial nursing evaluation visit.
- Re-evaluate clients’ nursing needs as required.
- Initiate plans of care and make necessary revisions.
- Counsel and instruct clients and families in meeting nursing and related needs.
