About The Position

The Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) will work the 14:30 - 03:00 shift. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the ED, with some Pediatric experience. Travel experience is also required. The nurse will be responsible for patient care in a busy ED environment, managing a variety of common patient diagnoses including Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, and Respiratory Failure. The unit is equipped with specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun. Patients range from Newborn to Geriatric. The unit has 64 beds, including Triage, Acute, Super Track, Trauma, CDU, and Psych beds. Required drips and medications include various Pressors, Vasodilators, Anti-arrhythmics, Sedation, TNK, Heparin, and Insulin.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Emergency Department.
• Some Pediatric experience required.
• Travel experience required.
• Up-to-date resume including all experience.
• Skills Checklist matching specialty.
• Drivers license with address matching demographics.
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS.
• TNCC required.
• NURSYS Report.
• Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License.
• RTO must be included at time of submission.
• EMR Experience Required: EPIC.

Responsibilities
