About The Position
This posting serves as a pipeline requisition for future Emergency Services Unit (ER/ED) opportunities at CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. By applying, you will be considered for upcoming openings as they become available within the department. Position status (Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem) and shift availability (Days, Evenings, or Nights) may vary based on the organization's needs at the time of hire. Full-Time positions may qualify for a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus, subject to eligibility requirements and final review and approval by the organization.
Requirements
- Graduate of a RN Training Program
- Minimum one year recent experience in Emergency Room setting required. (Not applicable to New Grad RN’s)
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to work in a union environment.
- Current California RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) card from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certificate
- Basic EKG
- Los Angeles County Fire Card (required within 30 days of hire)
- Assault Response Competency (ARC) (required within 30 days of hire)
Responsibilities
- Planning, directing, coordinating and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process.
