About The Position
RN Endo/GI position in Rochester, New York. The assignment is for 13 weeks with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Gross weekly pay is listed as $3,100 for 40 hours, comprising taxable W-2 pay of $40 per hour and a non-taxable housing and meal stipend of $1,500 per week. The role primarily involves day shifts, with on-call responsibilities based on unit needs. Shifts are staggered, lasting 8 or 10 hours, with start times between 6:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and end times between 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Weeknight call runs from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. the following morning. Weekend and holiday call is 24 hours, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Requirements
- New York nursing license only.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only.
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only.
- At least 2 years of previous endoscopy procedure experience.
- Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification.
- Experience with conscious sedation.
- Expert IV insertion skills.
- Experience recovering patients from general anesthesia.
- Experience performing intake for GI procedures.
