RN – Emergency Services - Chula Vista - Full Time Nights
About The Position
Scripps Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join the 24-bed Emergency Department at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista. The RN provides direct patient care, including assessment, care planning, and evaluation of patient progress, and leads the care team to support optimal patient outcomes in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. The department provides 24-hour emergency care and is described as friendly, positive, family-oriented, and collaborative. The position is full-time, benefits-eligible, and works 12-hour night shifts for 72 hours per two-week pay period. It may be eligible for new-hire and relocation incentives up to $4,000, subject to eligibility criteria.
Requirements
- Registered Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Active California RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS Healthcare Provider certifications through the American Heart Association.
- NRP Healthcare Provider certification through the American Heart Association within six months of hire.
- One year of recent RN experience in an Adult Emergency Services department.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and positive behaviors.
- Ability to speak, read, and follow instructions in English.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- CEN – Certified Emergency Nursing.
