We are currently hiring an RN for our Med/Surg Float Pool at Essentia Health Duluth - Miller Dwan! Essentia Health Duluth - Miller Dwan consists of the following floors: - Observation Unit - Inpatient Rehab - Adolescent Behavioral Health - Adult Behavioral Health - Med/Surg This float pool is primarily between Observation, Inpatient Rehab, and Med/Surg Floors as we have a separate Behavioral Health Float Pool. Requirements

BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
Current nursing licensure in Minnesota
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
1 year Acute RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

Organizing and providing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Being a team leader and delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
Contributing to meeting the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and in turn serve the community in which you live.
Meeting the requirements of the Joint Commission as applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
