About The Position
Essentia Health is hiring for a Med/Surg Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) at their Duluth, Minnesota location. This role will primarily float between the Observation Unit, Inpatient Rehab, and Med/Surg Floors. This is an opportunity to expand nursing skillsets in an acute care setting.
Requirements
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
- Current nursing licensure in Minnesota
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
Nice To Haves
- 1 year Acute RN experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Organizing and providing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Acting as a team leader and delegating aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
- Contributing to meeting the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and serving the community.
- Meeting the requirements of the Joint Commission as applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
