About The Position

True Care is a Licensed Home Care Services Agency serving clients across New York and Westchester. The RN Educator develops, coordinates, and delivers specialized on-site, in-person training for Home Health Aides and Personal Care Assistants. The role supports learners with varying skill levels, helping them build knowledge and provide safe, compassionate, high-quality care. Instruction must align with New York State Department of Health regulations, recognized quality standards, agency policies, and internal quality improvement initiatives. Classes take place at True Care locations in Brooklyn and Queens, with some travel between locations required. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

Current New York State RN license in good standing.
At least 2 years of nursing experience.
At least 1 year of home care experience.
Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese.
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

Develop, plan, and facilitate in-person HHA, PCA, and other clinical training programs across multiple True Care locations.
Identify and collect evidence-based materials to support caregiver and nurse learning needs.
Assess learner progress and adjust teaching strategies, curriculum, or materials as needed.
Create engaging instructional techniques to enhance participation and retention.
Ensure educational programs comply with NYSDOH regulations, recognized quality standards, and agency policies.
Maintain accurate educational records and collaborate with internal teams on quality initiatives.
Support ongoing staff development by reinforcing clinical best practices and care standards.
