About The Position

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse works within the organization’s policies and procedures and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The role is responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating assigned staff’s patient-care activities to provide quality nursing care. This position is with Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Sign-on bonus available. Requirements

Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
No experience is required; new graduates of a nursing program are eligible.
Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
Advanced certification in the specialty, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
One year in a hospital setting preferred for PRN positions.
