As an ICU/ER Registered Nurse at CHI St. Joseph's Health, now part of CommonSpirit Health, you will be the backbone of critical care, providing life-saving interventions for our most vulnerable patients across both the Intensive Care Unit and the Emergency Department. In this dynamic role, you will bridge the gap between acute stabilization and long-term critical care. You are a highly skilled clinician who thrives in high-acuity environments, capable of transitioning seamlessly between the fast-paced, unpredictable nature of the ER and the complex, high-monitoring requirements of the ICU. Whether you are managing a ventilator and titrating vasoactive drips in the ICU or performing rapid triage and stabilization in the ER, you will partner with a multidisciplinary team to deliver expert care, including central line assistance, arterial line monitoring, and advanced hemodynamic support. To thrive in this float role, you must possess exceptional clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to build immediate rapport with patients and families during their most critical moments. You are a collaborative professional who remains calm under pressure and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and dignity for every patient, regardless of the setting.
