About The Position
Jefferson University Hospital is seeking a registered nurse for its Center City Division Float Pool. The position floats to intensive care units at TJUH, TJU, and Methodist Hospital. Schedules are available six weeks in advance. The schedule commitment requires night-shift availability, three 12-hour shifts each week, four weekend shifts every six weeks, and one holiday per season.
Requirements
- State-issued RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification.
- At least 2 years of ICU experience.
- Proof of completed ECCO course or critical care training.
- Must be able to work night shift.
- Must be able to work three 12-hour shifts weekly.
- Must be able to work four weekend shifts every six weeks.
- Must work one holiday per season.
Nice To Haves
- BSN degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.
- Administer medications safely and assess patient responses.
- Participate in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination.
- Float to intensive care units at TJUH, TJU, and Methodist Hospital.
