RN Division Resource: ICU Float Pool RN
About The Position
Join our Division Float Pool! Schedules are available 6 weeks in advance. The work schedule commitment for this position requires the following: Must be able to work night shift, three (3) twelve (12) hour shifts on a weekly basis, 4 weekend shifts every 6 weeks, and 1 holiday per season. As a registered nurse, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performs patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice. Practices safe medication administration and assesses patient responses to medication. Participates in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination. Float to units at TJUH, TJU, & Methodist Hospital.
Requirements
- State Issued RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of exp. in a ICU Setting
- Proof of ECCO
- Must be able to float to TJUH, JHN, & Methodist
Nice To Haves
- BSN Degree preferred
