About The Position

This is a position for experienced RN's only, preferably experience in Critical Care. Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient focused Clinical Resource Lead RN to join our team to make a difference for our patients and our community. The Clinical Resource Lead will be responsible for monitoring patient care needs for all inpatient settings and provide clinical and administrative leadership on evenings and weekends in the absence of Nurse Managers. This includes assessment, planning and evaluation of patient care needs and nursing care provided, adjustment of staffing and providing direct patient care for inpatients, with a focus on Med/Surg, Telemetry, Progressive Care and Critical Care areas. Requirements

  • Degree in Nursing
  • Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota
  • CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers, Advanced Cardiopulmonary Life Support (ACLS)
  • Two years (4160 hours) of acute/critical care RN experience
  • At least six months in a unit leadership or education position (e.g. charge nurse, preceptor or member of a shared governance committee)

Nice To Haves

  • BSN/MSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN/MSN is obtained within 5 years of hire
  • Critical care experience is highly recommended
  • Attend Fundamental of Critical Care Support (FCCS) within 18-24 months after hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
  • Specialty certification strongly preferred and willing to obtain certification within 18-24 months of hire

Responsibilities
