About The Position
The successful candidate will have a variety of duties, including but not limited to: Directing, coordinating, and supervising the activities of all nursing staff engaged in a designated unit. Authority, responsibility, and accountability for the overall management of residents in a designated unit. Responsible for transmitting each unit's staff concerns to the appropriate department supervisor. Maintenance of Resident Care Plans and the overall management of resident care. Requirements
- Degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York required
- Must have a minimum of one year of experience in nursing service administration
- Must possess knowledge of state, federal, and local long-term care regulations
- Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable
- Strong customer service skills and compassion
Nice To Haves
- Additional education or experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred
