About The Position

The RN Coordinator of Clinical Faculty and Placements is responsible for securing clinical placements and maintaining adequate clinical and simulation instructional capacity to support projected nursing program enrollment. This position develops and maintains healthcare partnerships, coordinates placement capacity across programs and specialty areas, recruits qualified adjunct clinical and simulation faculty, and supports workforce planning related to enrollment growth and instructional needs. RN Coordinator collaborates with nursing leadership, faculty, and clinical partners to anticipate program needs, maintain regulatory compliance, and support student progression.

Requirements

  • Current unencumbered Registered Nurse license required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills for tracking, forecasting, reporting, and analysis

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum three (3) years of clinical nursing experience preferred
  • Experience in nursing education, clinical coordination, clinical placement management, workforce planning, academic operations, or related areas preferred
  • Experience with clinical placement systems, databases, and tracking tools preferred
  • Knowledge of Board of Nursing regulations, accreditation standards, and clinical education requirements preferred

Responsibilities

  • Secure and coordinate clinical placements based on enrollment projections, course schedules, and program needs
  • Develop, maintain, and expand partnerships with hospitals, healthcare systems, and community agencies to support clinical capacity and enrollment growth
  • Coordinate student clinical assignments across programs, cohorts, specialty areas, and clinical experiences
  • Recruit qualified adjunct clinical and simulation faculty and maintain a pipeline to support instructional needs
  • Verify faculty qualifications, licensure, certifications, eligibility requirements, and assigned course requirements
  • Forecast faculty, clinical placement, and simulation needs based on enrollment projections and program growth
  • Coordinate faculty assignments to support clinical placements and simulation activities
  • Maintain records related to clinical placements, contracts, faculty qualifications, compliance requirements, and agency onboarding documentation
  • Coordinate clinical affiliation agreements and ensure student and faculty compliance requirements are met
  • Monitor clinical utilization, staffing needs, enrollment trends, and operational capacity
  • Prepare reports related to clinical capacity, workforce planning, enrollment projections, and operational needs
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership regarding clinical operations, placement needs, simulation planning, staffing projections, and program development
