The RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator serves as the backbone of the Bone and Mineral Disease patient population, managing a dynamic outpatient workflow that focuses on care coordination rather than the physical strain of floor nursing. Daily responsibilities center heavily on efficient clinical triage and symptom management, utilizing sharp assessment skills to evaluate patient needs over the phone and direct care appropriately. RN Clinical Nurse Coordinators also manage InBasket, maintaining seamless patient communication via MyChart messages and telephone encounters. Additionally, the role oversees critical administrative-clinical tasks, including prior authorizations, medication refills, and treatment coordination. This role offers a highly desirable outpatient schedule designed for a sustainable, long-term career without the burnout of traditional shift work.
