About The Position
Star Pediatric Homecare by Abound Health is seeking a Pediatric RN Clinical Manager to join our Clinical Leadership team in Union County, NJ! In this full-time, 40-hour per week role, you will report to the Director of Nursing. You will oversee pediatric home care services, supporting nurses in the field and ensuring high-quality care for our young patients. This position combines office-based responsibilities with regular patient home visits, including occasional overnight visits to supervise night-shift nurses.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of New Jersey.
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing in home care.
- Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to varying schedules.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally, including occasional overnight supervision.
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care is perferred
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support field clinical staff across day and night shifts.
- Coordinate and oversee patient care plans.
- Conduct regular patient home visits and staff evaluations, including some overnight supervisory visits.
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards, company policies, and state regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Lead staff training, case conferences, and performance reviews.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
