About The Position

The RN Clinical Manager works in partnership with clinic operations managers to oversee and support clinical care delivery for a defined group of clinics. Assists with clinical staff selection and onboarding into the department, performance appraisals, disciplinary processes, departmental quality improvement projects and reports, and patient/staff satisfaction experience and score improvements. The position direct reports to the director of nursing for oversight of the nursing body of work and maintains a collaborative partnership with the clinic operations managers. The RN Clinical Manager utilizes the nursing process to effectively assess the needs of patients; identify a plan of care; and implement and evaluate the care provided by the care team. Coordinates and directs care given by other team members. Addresses system issues to facilitate the provision of quality efficient care. Provides oversight and management of direct clinical care and care processes across the department. The position leads the department in facilitating change, fostering innovation and self-development to achieve excellence in care delivery, patient safety, and quality. Excellent communication skills, leadership ability, time management, and problem solving skills required.

Requirements

  • Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
  • 1 year nursing experience
  • Proficient Computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
  • Meet numerous requests and deadlines.
  • Delegate appropriately to other team members
  • Current Nursing License active in the state of Missouri

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • 2+ years nursing experience with at least one year in area of specialization
  • Prior supervisory or training experience
  • Ambulatory Clinic experience
  • Certification in applicable nursing specialty or ambulatory care nursing

  • Assist with developing long-term department plans.
