RN Clinical Coordinator - AHN Electrophysiology Clinic - Allegheny General Hospital - Full Time
About The Position
Provides clinical support between patients and physicians. Assesses Electrophysiology device telemonitoring results with physicians and ensures patient communication regarding results and/or recommendations per physician order. Provides clinical support during office hours on the Allegheny General Hospital campus and outreach timeshare locations. Assesses health status/needs during the clinic visit, formulates and communicates an action plan, and implements the plan after discussion with the responsible physician. Coordinates the Electrophysiology telemonitoring schedule. Assesses learning needs of patient and family and provides education based on age, culture, and willingness to learn.
Requirements
- Minimum Nursing School Diploma
- Two years experience with Electrophysiology device telemonitoring
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
Nice To Haves

- Cardiovascular experience
- Outpatient setting experience
- Experience as an RN in the same area of specialty
