The 6th Floor Acute Care Unit at St. Anthony Hospital is a dynamic, 36-bed Magnet®-designated unit with a clinical speciality on trauma and oncology care. Our team specializes in treating patients with blunt abdominal, chest, and orthopedic injuries—often resulting from motor vehicle accidents, falls, and outdoor activities common to our region. We also provide comprehensive care for oncology patients, including chemotherapy administration and management of neutropenic conditions, which currently represent approximately 10% of our patient population. Our mission is to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment. We foster a culture of positivity through daily recognition, team-building initiatives, and a strong commitment to professional development. As a designated education unit, we proudly support the growth of future nurses by actively engaging in student nurse education and mentorship. As an RN Clinical Coordinator you will actively support the department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit. You will not serve as a supervisor or manager; instead serve as a clinical nurse and resource to the staff, authorize work procedures and assign duties, shift charge.
