About The Position

Coordinate nursing program activities, resources, care plans, and therapy programs within a clinical specialty or department. Oversee program implementation, recommend and enforce clinical standards, policies, and procedures, and act as a resource for nursing staff. Supervise nursing staff, ensure implementation of care plans and therapy programs, and secure required equipment and resources. Assemble, maintain, and coordinate all required clinical and program documentation.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
Previous cardiac experience needed

Nice To Haves

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Experience with LVAD desired
